Education theory books

·        Education theory books are methodology books, etc. that do not qualify as curriculum.

·        They are classed within the general collection of the library.

Education curriculum

·        Education curriculum includes actual lessons, often incorporating a variety of methods and ideas, classed by subject and publisher, i.e. Saxon math curriculum.

·        They are classed in 370-375 with a special call number format:

·        Always start with the prefix Curr.

·        Use a class number like, 372.7

·        Add the publisher's symbol, e.g. SAX

·        Add the date of publication, e.g. 1999

·        Add the designation to distinguish between different types of books within a set, e.g. 1-T (first grade teacher's book)
